I am a mom of 3, a wife, a daughter, a sister, and friend. Right now I am fully aware I am on a journey. Excited for the days ahead and where He is leading me, but also terrified because I don’t know exactly where all this is going. I am in a season of waiting. Some days I am filled with more peace and contentment than others. Just hoping to obey, doing what is mine to do, one day at a time.
Practically speaking, I am from what was once the small town of Mooresville, NC. I then went to King College (now University) in Bristol, TN. From there I earned a Masters in Biblical Studies from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, FL. After getting married we moved to Johnson City, TN to plant an Anglican Church and then to Murrells Inlet, SC for another church position. We now live in Gatlinburg, TN where my husband is on Young Life staff and I have an ebay store that has enabled me to stay home with my kids.
You are joining me in my current dance of faithfully waiting but also taking courageous steps. Some days it feels as maddening as it sounds, waiting and yet taking steps. It is all because I feel a stirring in my soul for more. More in my relationship with the Lord, more living into the idea of having a unique calling in Christ. The Lord is on the move. I hope one day I get the honor of seeing what He is up to.
