Chapter 3: Quit Dying to the Wrong Things

*Just a heads up- Geri challenges you to think and journal on some things this week in the middle of the chapter. If you don’t get to it don’t feel guilty, but I wanted to give you a heads up in case you wanted to make time and space for it!

Additional Resources:

1. Here is a blog post I wrote about how to find our true selves. It is based on Geri’s FAQ section of her video.

2. Here is an intro to the Enneagram that is very helpful by Suzanne Stabile.

3. This podcast is also really helpful and not just for beginners to the Enneagram but also to those who have been using it for a while. It makes beautiful connections between the Enneagram and our faith and to the Gospel itself. It starts off in some deep waters… push through if you need to, it is totally worth it!

4. This is an excellent sermon by Tim Keller called Blessed Self-Forgetfulness. He looks at Paul and talks about our egos and how we can grow and mature. Think Enneagram number, false self/true self. I hope to wrestle with this and write a post on it.

The Road Back to You (also a book): Ian Cron and Suzanne Stabile

I am a wife, a mom, a sister, a daughter, a friend, and intimidated by making a short summary of myself. I am an Enneagram 2. I have a heart for discipleship. My favorite thing is to walk alongside of someone as they take courageous steps in their life.
