What did I learn about God…What is my take away…
God you are silent. Job has at times in his extreme suffering exhibited such intense beautiful faith. Yet a few chapters later, he expresses such great sorrow for you seem so far away from him (chapter 23). I think I fear being in that place that you feel so far away! Will I be faithful at rock bottom?
I know you are hearing Job’s every word. I think my take away today is Lord I humbly bow before you and thank you for how richly you have blessed me. Please give me the gift of faithfulness if you allow dark days in my future. Draw me closer to you and your heart, for your glory.
